About Me

<p>Scrum once helped Rolf a lot! ... Well, it saved his company and kept him from getting too stressed. He was a Product Owner for several years before starting his career as an independent agile trainer, facilitator, and coach, open to all agile methods.</p><p>He is certified in Scrum, Scrum@Scale, Kanban, and the Flight Levels System, and has training in many other agile ways of working. As a certified Kanban trainer, he regularly teaches both public and private Kanban certification courses. Rolf has also co-trained several CSM and CSPO courses and has taught over 300 people about Agile methods.</p><p>Rolf helps teams and organizations create work systems where engaged people can find creative solutions to complex problems at a steady pace. He often works with Scrum teams that are struggling with their productivity to help them improve or develop their Scrum practices.</p><p>Rolf is an active member of the agile community. He leads a Scrum Alliance User Group, having held 50 meetups since it started, and has grown the group to over 600 members. He also helped start and organizes the Agile Barcamp, an annual un-conference for the agile community in Germany that has been running for nine years. This event attracts around 200 participants for two days and has featured keynote speakers like Jon Kern, Jurgen Appelo, Arie van Bennekum, Ben Hughes, Daniel S. Vacanti, Gunter Dueck, and many others.</p><p>Rolf also has a talent for translating into good German. He translated the Kanban Guide for Scrum Teams, The Flow System Guide, and the whitepaper that started the Agile Kata movement. He is also certified as an Agile Kata trainer.</p><p>Rolf has 30 years of hands-on experience in process improvement in organizations of different sizes and industries.</p>
