Kanban Train the Trainer

Trainer: Amit Kaulagekar

The Kanban Train the Trainer course is designed for those with a passion for Kanban who want to deliver KU certified Kanban training. This course does not teach Kanban fundamentals, rather it focuses on ensuring the candidate’s effectiveness as a trainer. It is expected all students have significant Kanban experience and have attained the Kanban Management Professional credential from Kanban University.

The TTT is an assessment course. It will evaluate each candidate’s ability to present the Kanban University course curriculum effectively and knowledgeably in a classroom setting. It will also assess each candidate’s working Kanban knowledge through the presentation of a case study (prepared prior to class) and through class exercises and quizzes.

Preparation prior to the course is crucial to success. If you feel you have the practical kanban implementation experience to write a quality case study, have attained the KMP Credential and can commit to the extensive preparation required of this class, then you should proceed. Remember, the TTT does not teach Kanban, candidates need come to class fully prepared to demonstrate their level of mastery with the method. Attending the TTT course does not guarantee full approval.

At the end of this course, each candidate’s performance will be assessed, approval to teach all (TKP, KSD and KSI) KU courses may be granted or only a portion of them. Additional steps may be required for full approval, and could include co-training with an established AKT, further study, or additional meetings with your trainer. KU provides all candidates with a path to full approval.

Your success is dependent on how well you prepare! You are expected to master the curriculum, prepare a kanban case study to demonstrate your experience, and deepen your kanban knowledge... all before class begins!

This virtual TTT course will be held over 6 days, Thursday to Tuesday, from August 19 to 24, in India Standard Time.
