Kanban System Design (KMP1)
Course description:
In this 2-day Kanban System Design course you will gain deeper familiarity with the Kanban methods and a Systems thinking approach (STATIK) to applying Kanban for your Product or team.
Pre-requisite:
- Suitable for beginners or intermediate but you must have previous exposure to Kanban.
Accreditation: Kanban System Design (KMP1).
Learning Outcomes:
After completion of training you will learn how to:
- Guide a team in their adoption of Kanban – using the STATIK approach, including:
- Identify internal and external sources of dissatisfaction
- Analyse demand vs capability
- Model the knowledge discovery process
- Identify classes of service
- Design Kanban systems and their visualisations
- Embrace a service-delivery mindset and help the team Identify and reduce the bottlenecks that obstruct your development process
- Learn how to measure and use meaningful Kanban metrics like Flow Efficiency, Lead Time Distribution, Control Chart and Cumulative Flow Diagram (CFD)
- Learn how to decide WIP limits and conduct effective daily stand up and other Kanban meetings
- Evolve the process and practices in collaboration with team to ensure the service delivery model is “fit for purpose”.

After course completion:
