Delivery Manager
The 2-day Delivery Manager course is designed for agile professionals, team leads, and managers responsible for delivering products or services. It is ideal for those looking to improve customer satisfaction, reduce delivery times, and increase reliability and predictability across their organisation.
This course focuses on addressing the real challenges of managing and delivering intangible work—challenges that traditional management approaches often fail to solve. The Delivery Manager course and credential equip managers with the skills and understanding needed to significantly improve delivery performance by designing and operating effective Kanban systems. Participants learn how to create systems of work that increase throughput while improving consistency and reliability.
The course supports organisations moving from Level 2 to Level 3 on the Kanban Maturity Model (KMM). At this level, the Delivery Manager role becomes critical in improving the flow of work beyond individual teams, enabling faster, more reliable delivery and supporting organisational scale.
Drawing on 20 years of Kanban case studies and experience reports, effective Delivery Managers have consistently delivered measurable business outcomes, including:
- Up to 4× productivity improvements
- 30% reductions in lead time
- Significantly improved customer satisfaction
- Increased competitiveness in demanding markets
Great Delivery Managers lead with outcomes. They have the confidence and credibility to take meaningful action, implement systems that produce predictable results, and add value in self-organising environments where people work with autonomy. They understand how to improve speed without sacrificing quality or predictability.
