Description:

Scrum Better with Kanban can help you improve your Scrum through the introduction of proven Kanban practices, principles, and application of evolutionary change management. This course captures the lessons learned from Scrum teams that successfully evolved their way of working by using evolutionary change found in the Kanban Method. Our guided, hands-on training will ensure that you walk away with an approach to introducing improvements that will help you and your teams “uncover better ways” to deliver results and organization.

The Course includes: Guided learning material (led by a trainer who is both a CST and AKT), exercises and simulations. We'll be using MIRO and ZOOM, and all links will be sent to the participants prior to the start date of class (don't wait until the last minute to sign up :) ).

You'll also get a FREE eBook of "Foundations of Scrum" which is up to date with the 2020 Scrum Guide. We

Marcelo has worked in software development since the early 1980's, and developed software ranging from parts of operating systems and medical devices to insurance claims and payment processing systems. Starting with Scrum in 2003 followed later by applying the Kanban Method in 2007, Marcelo has been an AKT for 9 years, CST for the last 5, as well as a Scrum@Scale Trainer for the last 2 years. He's worked with fuel logistics and delivery companies and banks as an Enterprise "Coach" because his work had as much to do with simply helping people look at problems from different perspective, as he has building teams (and teams-of-teams) and helping establish CapEx/OpEx and Risk Governance and Control systems for regulatory compliance.

Marcelo was, and remains, the principal translator of the Scrum Guide into Spanish (since 2011) and also the author of "Scrum en Breve", a brief introduction to what Scrum is and is for. He also co-owns and operates the Scrum Practitioners Group on LinkedIn. If this makes you wonder what this has to do with Kanban, he'd answer by saying "With as many Scrum Practitioners as there are, there are many people who've yet to discover how to make Scrum Better with Kanban".
