Kanban System Design

this is one of our few english Kanban System Design-Courses which covers the foundational principles and practices the Kanban Method is based upon. If you want to learn from one of the leading experts in Kanban and have deep conversations about Product Flow with other participants this is the course for you.

who is it for?

this training is the most often booked by leaders and people in decision making roles that want to systemically understand and optimize the environment they are responsible for. Yet the training also helps if Kanban was implemented in your environment and you need to get a deeper understanding on how the System works.

content

we'll cover the most important parts about Kanban in theoretical and practical modules.

these are:

• visualizing of creative/knowledge work,
• focusing your work through WIP-Limits,
• the advantages of pull-systems,
• flow of work and
• how to start with an evolutionary and continouos improvement process.

by the end of the 2.5 days, you'll have the tools to start or enhance of the most effective change methods in your area of responsibility.

schedule

we'll be working intensly in break-out groups on a virtual whiteboard. that is why we increased the course schedule to 2.5 instead of 2 days.
by doing so, you gain more time to reflect, more time with the group and more learning opportunities that in the physical setup.

we'll invite you to a small tech-check and some instructions on how to prepare best for the course a week ahead.
