The Kanban Train the Trainer course is designed for those with a passion for Kanban who want to become Accredited Kanban Trainers and teach KU certified Kanban training. This course does not teach Kanban fundamentals, rather it focuses on ensuring the candidate’s effectiveness as a Kanban trainer. It is expected all students have significant Kanban experience and have attained the Kanban Management Professional credential from Kanban University.
Due to the excitement surrounding our new course, Scrum Better with Kanban, we are including the SBK curriculum in this Train the Trainer class!!
The TTT is an assessment course. It will evaluate your ability to present the Kanban University course curriculum effectively and knowledgeably in a classroom setting. It will also assess your working Kanban knowledge through the presentation of a case study (prepared prior to class) and through class exercises and quizzes.
Preparation prior to the course is CRUCIAL to your success. If you feel you have the practical kanban implementation experience to write a quality kanban case study, have attained the KMP Credential, and can commit to the extensive preparation required of this class, then you should proceed.
At the end of this course, your performance will be assessed, and approval to teach Team Kanban Practitioner, Scrum Better with Kanban, Kanban System Design, and Kaban Systems Improvement courses may be granted, or only a portion of them. Additional steps may be required for full approval and could include additional meetings with your TTT trainer, co-training with an established AKT, or further study. Kanban University provides all candidates with a path to full approval.
Your success is dependent on how well YOU PREPARE! You are expected to master the curriculum, prepare a kanban case study to demonstrate your Kanban experience and deepen your kanban knowledge... ALL before class begins!
This virtual TTT course will be held in English, over 10 half days, Monday to Friday, March 10 to 21, 2025, from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm EDT / 9h to 13h BRT / 12:00 to 16:00 GMT / 13:00 to 17:00 CET / 5:30 pm to 9:30 pm IST / 8:00 pm to midnight Singapore Time & China Standard Time

Note that the class is limited to 12 students with a minimum of 6 students to confirm the class. Course materials and preparation instructions will be sent upon paid registration. a. Cancellation. Attendee may cancel their Training Class registration with a refund according to the following:
i. More than 45 days before the event: Full refund
ii. From 44 to 30 days before the event: 75% of the ticket will be refunded.
iii. From 29 to 20 days before the event: 25% of the ticket will be refunded.
iv. Less than 20 days before the event or less: no refund provided.
b. Transfers. Attendee may transfer their Training Class registration to the next available course by KanbanUniversity. A maximum of two (2) transfers is permitted. If the attendee does not attend the second event, the registration fee will be forfeited, and no refund will be provided. Transfers are subject to the following:
First Transfer
i. More than 30 days before the event: transfer at no cost.
ii. 30 days before the event or less: transfer fee of $500 will apply.
iii. 15 days before the event or less: transfer fee of $1,000 will apply.
Second Transfer
i. More than 30 days before the event: transfer at no cost.
ii. 30 days before the event or less: transfer fee of $1,000 will apply.
iii. 15 days before the event or less: transfer fee of $2,000 will apply.
